We finish researching advanced armor. It is created using a ceramic-steel composite layered in between thermoplastic covered with Kevlar. While it cannot stop anti-material rounds, it can consistently stop 7.62x54R rounds from a Rossiyan SVD hi-power rifle using FMJ rounds at a distance of 10 yards. The armor degrades after about 10 shots. We're sharing it with the DAV.
