what do i do with .png files, cause i really need to know?

.png files are images. if they are with a mod its usually a texture or something you need. Just put it were it tells you too, or look at it and decide what folder it goes too.

Photo editor of your choice. (GIMP/Photoshop/Paint [as long as there's no transparency])

when i open them with paint all the white turns black

nvm about that but i didnt invert the colors and white becomes black for some reason when i open the image with paint

thats becasuse paint does not support png files that i know off.
