Author Topic: Castle/Fort On a Mountain [Terrain]  (Read 4403 times)

This is just an old build I decided I would post just so that people can better understand the style of terrain mentioned on Conan's Terrain guide. I've seen many people attempt to replicate my stairway style path for the terrain and not do so well so I thought it would be nice to show everyone how I built mine. Also, this is an unfinished project which I don't know if I will continue on.
Inb4Conan :)

First photo I took when v21 released. I was planning on posting this as a v21 default save because it only uses default bricks.

Final back side where you can see how I placed my bricks.

This build only uses a total of 4064 bricks.
You may rate x/10

This is beautifully done, good job.

10/10 That my friend is a wonderful build and the cycle combined with the castle like build inside really suits itself

This is beautifully done, good job.
Damnit....
I was about to first
I also rate 10/10
Thats what I call terrain

nice... not complete tho

aaaahhhh, about time kink

I hold by my last rating 48/50 which I gave to you on the server.

iii This style has been done so much. It makes me puke. The path through the cliffs and the wooden lamps.

Yet, beautiful terrain I must say.

But now when I really think about it.. it sort of lacks. As a matter of fact I find it pretty bland.
The terrain is top notch... but it's just.. terrain I guess. No details other than terrain.

Oh, and may I say that's a lovely castle and a terrific bridge.

8.5/10

This proves everyone who thinks making everything out of default bricks looked ugly wrong.

Conan showed me this once
I love it

Very nice, but the castle isn't quite on par with the terrain. You should make it bigger / more detailed. Good job so far!

he was the first i've known to do this.

Easily 10/10. You really took time with your terrain.
But I couldn't help noticing something.

This part here looks really familiar

This is my build I put on gallery a while back

Coincidence?

No, not at all. This was built way before the terrain guide which is where this build can be seen. I really do feel as though people think I copied this style from others and would like to let everyone know that I plan my own design of terrain.
