really, it seems like a lot of fandoms have their fair share of good and bad people. it seems the overall view of the fandom is based off of how you view the thing it's based off of. for a personal example, i think the transformers fandom is one of the best- i've met a whole lot of caring people in it, but i've seen quite a few people who aren't quite as great.

of course, some fandoms have varying amounts of good/bad people, but you shouldnt completely disregard the good.

if that makes any sense i'm pretty tired but whatever
