I think the main thing that makes a fandom bad is how difficult it is to ignore or completely avoid.
example: which is easier to ignore, a 200 pound lardass wearing a fluttershy tee at a convention spreading the gospel of the sparkledonkeys, or the loveual tendencies of someone whose only emphasis on his or her furry special interest would be a humanoid animal in their 74x74 avatar.
Unless you have severe ADD that only lets you focus on small, colorful pictures, my guess is the latter. I wouldn't consider any fandom good, though, mainly because there are always annoying ass holes who want to spread their stuff everywhere. This is why I hate CoD junkies so much.
