"After an operation in Istanbul ends in disaster, James Bond is missing and presumed to be dead, and the identities of every active undercover MI6 agent are leaked onto the internet. So, James Bond is back and big! Skyfall is Daniel Craig's third movie as the brilliant English spy, and this is Bond's tenty third film in total, and takes place in the 50
th anniversary of James Bond!
The film debuts in Cinemas on
October 26nd in the
United Kingdom, and is followed in the
US and elsewhere on
November 9th.For anyone new to Bond, have no worry about knowing any of the other films. Each film is generally seperate from each other and has it's own unique plot with little reference or acknowledgment to previous film plots, even within the same actor's series.
The last two James Bond films, both played by Daniel Craig were
Casino Royale and
Quantum of Solace, which the latter was a direct sequel to the first. However, Skyfall has no continuation in story from Quantum of Solace, so new viewers need not fear being out of touch with the story.
So, since we didn't seem to have any topics on Skyfall, and since I'm sure it's well-known, or atleast James Bond is well-known to many here, I decided I'd create a topic.
