A normal human being would assume you are an RTB player that's not exactly familiar with Blockland, or as many other people would call it, a "noob".
I don't use such terminology though, I'm just making it easier for you.

:p, no problem, anyway, you don't need gaps, just make the door only have a collision mesh with the player (yes, this is possible)

How about a vent door? I.E. height cut in half for crawl places.
