Here's a shot of me having some fun with an add-on I'm developing:

Sweet, you need to fix the frame a bit, so there isn't any gaps around the edge. Other than that, this mod owns. I've been waiting for doors for too long.

:cookieMonster:

Well, the gap is kinda intentional.  I felt the 'cleanest' way of handling door rotation was for the door to not intersect or collide with its frame.  The frame you see there doesn't come with the door, you can build whatever frame you like.  Also, the door will take the color of the brick on which the door is mounted.  Painting that brick will also change the color of the door.  The gap around the door is uniform (even on all sides) and, even though it might not be what people are expecting, it should be the the most graceful approach.

you could always add some sort of cylinder on the door, where it rotates, and then fill in the gaps. Doing that should eliminate the gaps and the collision between the door and the frame. The only part I see colliding with the frame is at the point where it turns.

Looks like it's coming along very well.
Keep up the good work, Trader!

Thanks.  Hopefully I'll have it done soon.

when all is good with these you should make other door and window options :)
ones for offices and houses

Nice, hope to see it soon!

Are they items, or bricks?

Trader, can you try the suggestion I made?

Once I have full use of doors enabled, I'll look into filling the gaps.  However, I'll tell you now that I'll be going for aesthetics over realism.

@ ChexGuy331: Neither.

Could it be possible to make a elevator brick thing the same way you made that door?(a specialized brick with 1 purpose)
