Oh, okay. Well it seems I will be having a fun time making a lot of doors.
Now, for the restrictions, are you going to be able to make restrictions based on ID, but still make it so super admin can access all doors?

The good news is that you'll be able to save / load your Door configurations once you get them setup.

OK.  I added rounded / beveled edges to the Doors and made them a bit taller.  This closes the gaps and still allows the Doors to rotate relatively collision-free.

Door + plate = 5 bricks tall.

I would imagine that the Doors will be ready when I post the add-on.  Other than that, I'm not sure.  I mean the VERY basic functionality is there:

Doors that open when someone approaches and close 3 seconds later.

However, there are so many more features I want to add:

If a Door starts to close, it should check whether or not a player is in the way first.
If a Door is closing and a player approaches it, it should reopen.
Ability to restrict access to Doors.
Ability to save and load Doors and their restrictions.

So, I'll work on those features as much as I can.  I'll keep you informed on the progress I make.

i think we would all like a beta version, i think we could give you a better understand of its problems if it has any.

I could definitely put it to the test in my apartment build.

I made pretty substantial progress on the Doors tonight.  Checks are now in place to make sure that the Doors will not close when a player is in the way, and will reopen if a player gets in the way, but will close once the last player in the doorway leaves the doorway.  Also, I found a couple ways to make my code vastly more efficient.  So, once I run a few tests on all the latest code, I'll start working on the restrictions.  Once the restrictions are done, I'll add the ability to save and load Doors.  After successfully testing all that, then you'll have your release.  I know a lot of you are anxious to get your hands on the Doors, but I hope you'll understand and appreciate that I am waiting so that I can give you a quality release.

How about doors that hurt/kill/impulse people if they obsruct the door when its closing/opening?
