These doors were great, they really added that bit of interactivity that city builds are missing.
Upon seeing them in action, I have some suggestions:
I think they should be click to open instead of proximity open. Sometimes you might want to stand near a door with it closed.
It would be cool if you could have doors that can only be opened by the door owner as well as doors that can be opened by everyone.
I'd like to see the doors work with the U, D, N, S, E, W buttons on the wrench gui. As it stands currently you have to destroy and flip the brick and recreate it if you get the door backwards. Also, as we saw with adding doors to existing builds, you have to put a 1x4 in any openings you have, creating a little brick 'hump'. It might be better if you could put the 1x4 in the top of the doorway and have the door be below it, thus eliminating the hump.
I think the doors should look the same on the front as the back. Having the box pattern on one side does help determine the opening direction, but if the doors were the same on front and back you could create doors to fill a 1x8 opening by putting 2 of these doors side by side. (and have them both open the same direction, without having one with the detailed face, and the other without).
And the couple of bugs that I noticed with them is that 1: you can shoot through them, and 2: coronas from lights show through them.
The doors are great, they're on my patiently waiting for list, right next to Blockland v9 and Spore.
