3601H is one of the best tanks I've ever driven, if you learn how to angle the body properly then you will come out on top in almost every battle.
It's very wise to practice angling your tank in the 3601, you'll need that knowledge for the Tiger 1, I can guarantee you that anyone who complains about the Tiger 1 never learned how to angle their 3601H

I think I'm doing pretty well with angling my hull, seeing how I played TD's most of the time 

Should I play this tank differently depending on where I am on the list?

I'd play a bit more defensively until you get the top 8.8 gun, once you get that you can play it as a medium/heavy hybrid

The t3 French TD, Renault UE 57 I think it is.
That thing is the smallest tank in the game, it's absolutely adorable and has a really nice gun

German tanks are subscribed to the school of thought that says "Bigger = Better", all their tanks are just as huge as the guns which are mounted on them

I like the British tanks a lot, great aiming speed, nice dps, mid-range speed but they reach it and hold it very well
