I really want to record my DSi and my 3DS XL/LL (?) which I will be getting this month.
I don't really wanna spend money to do that. By the way how would I make that video quality much better if I were recording that?

look at that and see if it helps you

you'll probably end up spending some money

Huh? I don't really get it. :(

anything you do is going to cost you money. you could always point an HD camera straight down at it but that doesn't really seem optimal (and then you need to buy a good camera)

what the YouTube video guy did: he points a camera down at his DS which he secured to the table with some sticky tac. he records audio by plugging his DS into a notebook.

you're going to need an HD camera and something to record audio with.

Ahh. Well I checked another video of WiiFolderJosh, & found this

"how do you recored a 3ds so perfectly?"

WiiFolderJosh replied with this:

"It's direct feed through a capture board."

I searched 3ds capture board and found this:

So apparently I have to buy a 200 dollar kit and installation from the same person to do that. And it still doesn't give the effect I want via the video in the op. Any other way to do it?

HD camera pointed straight at it. that and the capture board are your only options if you want nice quality.

by the way, by "effect" what do you mean?

if you're talking about how it looks like a DS, you'll have to do this:

1) take a good quality picture of your DS, make sure it's nice and level.
2) crop the area you want to display in a photo editing program
3) use video editing software to overlay your captured footage over the screen of the picture

Watch the video in the OP? I watched another video of his and thats where I got "how do you recored a 3ds so perfectly?"

I did watch the video, I have no idea what effect you're talking about. I edited my post above with my best guess.

I meant the plastic like screen (?) from the video.

if you're referring to the border around the video they probably just put that over the video after recording it

1) take a good quality picture of your DS, make sure it's nice and level.
2) crop the area you want to display in a photo editing program
3) use video editing software to overlay your captured footage over the screen of the picture

ahh well thanks I'm going to lock this now.
