GTA IV came out on PC seven and a half months after it released on consoles.
GTA V will likely be roughly the same.

they're just freaking out because of a statement about them "considering bringing it to PC and Wii U" was released some week ago (oh no! not 100% confirmed? better make a petition!)

most negative points on the matter are that PC ports are less profitable because of filesharers. it'll probably happen anyway though

How is a petition going to pay for the months of development to have it adjusted, improved, and all that to fit PC better without feeling like a stuffty port? Well, that is probably going to happen anyway - just not coming out the same time as consoles.

It's been a slow week for grand theft auto v news.

Of course it has. Dan Houser has explained before he doesn't like to reveal too much about their games. He wants the players to have a much better experience not knowing what to expect when they play. From the trailers and the GameInformer article, we have the basic outline of information. We know most of the stuff we need to know. Anything else would just spoil the game.

I'm not expecting anything else really. I've already pre-ordered it from the Rockstar Warehouse. I'm just waiting for Springtime to come around.
