Author Topic: Murderer Friend  (Read 2550 times)

Heehee, thank you for being the first person to quote me in a sig! :)

ur welcum

i du uder things ef u pm me

'How did you get out of jail so fast?'

'How did you get out of jail so fast?'
'Your in life sentence dumbo, why you wearing that orange uniform anyways when we met?'

If he's already out after 3 years, though, the case was almost definitely a very small account of accidental manslaughter.  Even then, though, he wouldn't be out.  The topic is flawed because OP doesn't know about the mainstream judicial systems of the world.  I'm referencing the UK, the US, etc.

But, I'll bite.  If he could personally justify first degree murder, and allow me to do my own research, depending on who he killed/why he killed the individual, it would either determine the complete destruction of our friendship, or simply make it eerie.

What if he got away from the scene flawlessly and was never caught?

They already got in trouble for it, etc.

Oh yea forgot about that.
OP, your logic is flawed unless some rich as trillionair bailed the guy out

ask why they aren't in jail because of the murder

that has to be at least more than a three year sentence

beat you to the punch

Darn.
Well. stuff, I don't know.

He is a minor, and in my state, minors are treated very lightly. On top of that, it was a gang robbery. Of which an adult participated, and therefore was given the life sentence. Why are you telling me that I don't know about "mainstream" Judicial Systems? I've got 1 foot in the door of Law School. You're assuming a *lot* in your post.

1) That it was 1st Degree.
2) That hipster courts exist.
3) That it was accidental.

I could get into Mens Rea debate, per the nature, but I don't want to give specifics. Back to the question.

In most states murder = Execution.
I don't know where you live but if they let you off of MURDER and BURGLARY after 3 years thats insane.
My uncle went to prison and won't be out for another 5 years in I think louisiana just for shooting at some people, none were killed. He's been in there for about 4 years.
Attempted murder charge and public intoxication.

The Supreme Court made it illegal to execute a minor, or sentence him / her to life in prison.

Nothing, I'd continue on as usual.

Life in prison for a Minor would probably not be very pleasant for their star fish.
