Didn't say it was a budget. I just thought the $300 keyboard suited me, and that a $200 PC would work fine.
Use whatever keyboard you have now and put your $500 for a new PC.
Seriously, why the forget would you drop $300 on a keyboard when your computer can probably only run Minecraft on lowest settings.

Motherboard, CPU, PSU, RAM. You probably can save yourself the harddrive by taking out the one from your old computer. You'll also need a case, you might be able to just gut out everything from your old computer and put in new stuff, but you'll want to be sure that it has a microATX form factor.
...There aren't any tutorials for this...are there?

For building the computer? Sure, tons. Just look up a few on Youtube.

A excellent reason to rebuild.

gg

i feel like OP is probably better off getting a new prebuilt computer instead of building one

for some reason i just think he'd handle the parts wrong and wear wool socks with a sweater on while doing this or something

A excellent reason to rebuild.
And my father says its not possible to gut my pc, and replace the parts, and shove it into the new case. Help me out here?

It might not, the only way I could judge that is if I saw the inside of it.

The part list I gave you had a case for only about $30 I think, there's not a tremendous amount to be saved by reusing the case.

Well, I'm not going to waste my time building a PC that prolly wont work. What website can I buy good PCs from?

It's actually really easy, just watch a bunch of tutorials if you don't know what to do, and don't do anything dumb.
Buying complete PCs is so much more expensive.

The case I was talking about would work completely fine. This isn't a thing that "most likely won't work", as long as you don't do anything stupid it should be just fine.

...

I want to loving kill op for being so handicapped about the keyboard's price VS the computer's price.
