Author Topic: Adults react to PewDiePie (by retsupurae)  (Read 21782 times)

PewDiePie and 90% of all his fans are the scourge of humanity that should be ejected from planet earth.
Exxagerated.
WHAT HE MAKES MONEY FROM HIS VIDEOS AND THAT'S WHY HE IS MAKING THEM?!?

SELLOUT SCUMBAG WHAT A richard

Time to unsubscribe from everyone
It's his loving job but that doesn't make him good at it.
sorry but i think pewdiepie is pretty funny, sure he overreacts in his videos, its crystal clear, but why should anyone complain about him doing it for the money, if anyone else can do it too? ok saying that it'll just give him money is kind of lame, but why take it so seriously, it was most likely just a way to defend himself

he never was
He was the chosen one to the fan base. Now he has stabbed them in the back. The ones who stay and think that that comment is righteous will be the storm troopers. The ones who quit will be the Rebels.

We should start a band called "GoDiePie"

This topic is acting pretty predictable - Most posters already disliked PewDie to begin with, and therefore don't watch his videos for an impression. My first reaction is this is fake in some way, such as a stolen login due to his popularity. My second reaction was that the video is a clear insult against him. Not that at this point he shouldn't be jaded to hate, but this is a popular video centralized around hating on him for how he is passively. Sure, he has come to catchphrase himself and such, but in his mind it is passive and what makes him him. Yes, he yells. Yes, it can be annoying to some people. But you're picking out how he is and hating on him for it. He is a human being like anyone else, and such centralized hate on how you act having fun, doing your job, is hurtful.

That is not to say, real or not, it isn't bad to say. He should have kept his mouth shut, sure. But give some understanding.

At first i liked Pewdiepies videos. I thought he was funny. The more videos i watched the more apparent it became that he was only acting. I already hated his fans.

the more apparent it became that certain ways he acts during his videos, people loved and repeated, and as such he would amend them into his normal gameplay.*

People liked how he acted, and then he would see everyone commenting these lines and it'd make him passively repeat it more. Imagine if you had a low tolerance for scares permanently, and as such you'd freak out. And you make videos, become famous, people repeat certain ways you freak out. People enjoy that, and for you it is how you are, so you just start using it as an escape...

Anyone else find MegaScientifical's posts like this a little creepy in a way?  He knows proper grammar and everything, but he gets the weirdest things wrong as if he's some sort of AI.  That and his avatar being Skip from Facade makes it even better.

Can someone just explain what PewDiePie is?
I assume if you all hate him so much you'd rather not make people watch his stuff to find out.

I didn't think PewDie could talk like that, but after seeing the video, I can see how hurtful that would be to someone.

What you're saying is you like stupid stuff like screaming swedes and yelling brits, and so you try to defend them with arguments as solid as tissue paper and so full of holes they put swiss cheese to shame.

...people still like this idiot?

the kiddies eat this stuff up. it's actually inspired me to make a bunch of videos like this, make a ton of cash, then call all of my subscribers moronic forgettards after my two year contract with machinima or whatever is up.

Honestly, I hate Pewdiepie for more reasons than one. If you want a Swedish commentator who plays games, go watch some videos by Robbaz. He seems to be a good guy, and he donates all of the profits from his channel to charities that do things such as building wells in remote villages so people can have access to clean water. He's pretty funny in my opinion, and I really enjoy watching him play games.

glad I never got curious enough to stumble into one of his videos

"welcome to 'ihb'" was the farthest i ever got in but the one
