Author Topic: Adults react to PewDiePie (by retsupurae)  (Read 21833 times)

Honestly, I hate Pewdiepie for more reasons than one. If you want a Swedish commentator who plays games, go watch some videos by Robbaz. He seems to be a good guy, and he donates all of the profits from his channel to charities that do things such as building wells in remote villages so people can have access to clean water. He's pretty funny in my opinion, and I really enjoy watching him play games.

Hahahahaha he totally dug his own grave
He seemed pretty decent (if annoying at times) before this, guess I'm unsubbing now like holy stuff

I've never seen any content from one of his videos until now.
Makes me a little depressed to think that there are people who enjoy his stuff

It makes me depressed to know that this loving moron has enough money to comfortably live out the rest of his life while someone like TotalBiscuit can't retire without risking bankruptcy.

You're picking out how he is and hating on him for it. He is a human being like anyone else, and such
He is quite obviously acting.
I have defeated your wall of text by removing the center brick.

Considering TB is like 29, he doesnt need to worry about retiring just yet.

He is quite obviously acting.

To be honest, you quite obviously don't watch his videos. Sadly, most people hate him without watching more than 10% of his content for any point of reference. This doesn't just go for him, in fact, but for most anything. He is not acting. Over time, he has accumulated two million subscribers. He would talk during his videos, and as with any YouTube video, people will repeat certain phrases he blurts out in his excitement. He agrees in the humor of this, and of course he repeats it more often. This happens especially with the large viewer base he has.

This is horrid.
Other channels are succumbing to the "yelling unfunny offensive dipstuff horror game commentary" already...
Tobygames
Uberhaxornova
The list goes on.

This video is is a selection of what some people find the most annoying. The saddest part is these are portions of videos. I could pick out similar selections from any popular YouTuber and create a bad image for people who do not hear the rest of the videos.

To be honest, you quite obviously don't watch his video. we've seen enough to know he sucks

Sadly, most people hate him without watching more than 25% of his content for any point of reference. yes, because we really need to listen to six hours of screaming like a bitch to decide that is not quality entertainment.

This doesn't just go for him, in fact, but for most anything. This it not a valid point.

He is not acting. Yes he is, one does not scream for 45 seconds when a bear pops up on your screen.

Over time, he has accumulated two million subscribers. This doesn't support your argument at all.

He would talk during his videos, and as with any YouTube video, people will repeat certain phrases he blurts out in his excitement.
You don't "blurt out a phrase" in excitement sixteen times, especially when the phrase is "i'm going to rape this dead pig."

He agrees in the humor of this, and of course he repeats it more often. This isn't english, you can't agree with humor as humor is not an opinion, it is a noun.

This happens especially with the large viewer base he has. What about his large user base permits him to be a screaming friend?

Again i'd like to point out that your primary form of entertainment is screaming British idiots playing with cubes.

why would anyone watch 250 100 videos of something they hate just to make sure they actually hate it

that's around 1,000 minutes of pure endurance

it only takes one or two episodes of anything before you can feel confident saying to yourself "this is not something I am going to enjoy in the slightest" and do something more enjoyable like repeatedly drag your fingernails down a chalkboard for 3 hours

You're trying too hard to fight back against facts.

"you haven't inserted enough needles in your star fish to decide if you like inserting needles into your star fish, you should insert 400 more needles before you make a decision."

This is sad.
Unsubbing.

once my friend showed me one of this videos and i tried to be as open minded as possible and
not a single giggle of laughter was not out of pity
