This is what dropbox is for.

Doesn't work when somebody deletes the shared folder on the dropbox website.
I mean, I can recover them, but thats over 300 files that need to be individually recovered.

It was an accident, he didn't know how to delete shared folders, so he deleted the folder off the dropbox website. And, its not like the files are gone forever. Its just a loving annoyance.
I highly doubt that this happening is my fault.
