What's the history behind your username?

I always used my real name as a username until Blockland for some reason. I chose the username "Robo" on a whim and stuck with it ever since.

Forum username came from when my in-game name was GLaDOS, but that name was taken on the forums. So being a complete portalcigarette at the time, I picked the closest thing to it.

I've been saying that's where my username has come from for years, but the timeline in which I started Runescape (where I got the name) and the Nintendo DS coming out is off.
Haven't the foggiest as to how long ago that was. 7 years?
