maybe some people freak out when something pops up, but you probably shouldn't be having nightmares and fearing a game

most games lack proper character development / immersion
penumbra and amnesia weren't terrifying but the immersion gave off a pretty horrifying atmosphere, which is what horror games and movies SHOULD be, not cheap jump scares.

Like Dezca said, they are cheap jump scares, play casually for a little bit and you'll be fine later.
