I just started up the series a few weeks ago and still no spoilers.

I think it would have gone a lot smoother if each half-season was parallel to a volume - kind of like the first season. It was two episodes short of what we have now, but it was perfect.

The first season had things just right. There were some differences here and there, but not too plot changing. The pacing wasn't too slow or too fast.
The second season was trying to follow the second volume. But with what, sixteen episodes? That dragged it out too much and it seemed like they were trying to improvise.
The third season is moving way too fast. The producers listened to the fans - the last people who should be directing something.

I truly think if each half-season were to follow a volume, we would be fine. The first season is a perfect example.

Just finished season one B)

*spoiler..?*That thermobaric weapon totally made me think of the book World War Z

This season is far more entertaining than the first.

Anyway, I was so upset at this episode. Almost cried.

Spoilers Ahead

I don't think I'll be missing the mom too much. I've never liked her and I'm kind of glad she's gone. I do feel bad that the black guy was killed, mainly just because you don't see him very often :c

Ever since the run in with the Teen in the previous season Rick and the others become paranoid bastards. "Waah, a new guy. Kill him because we can't trust him."

I hated her, every time there was a scene focusing on her i wanted a zombie to come and eat her.

But wow that episode was brilliant, shame we lost T, he was cool.
And where the hell did Carol get to? is she dead?

See I don't get this. I love the graphic novels and the show is good. I didn't feel anything when what happened, happened this episode. I just didn't/don't feel attached to the characters at all unlike with other shows I've watched.

Spoilers I was stunned when T-Dog charged those walkers, he is now my favorite character despite being dead. I was never a big fan of Lori but I felt kind of bad when Carl had to kill her. Rick's reaction tore me apart though. :c
