can't wait 'till something causes the glass to crack.

ever heard of bullet proof glass

ever heard of bullet proof glass
All glass is breakable, including bullet resistant glass.

plexiglass is not hard to break

however sleeping in one of those rooms would make me uncomfortable knowing the glass could shatter any time and i would drown in my sleep and be crushed
im not very optimistic

Something seems fishy about this.....

Just swim up

It's not that deep

I'd hate to be in a room with water pushing on it.

What if it leaks? What if a water pressure compensator fails? What if the glass fails?

Even without the water, I love the architecture, though.

I think when the glass breaks the structure rises.
not 100% fullproff but okay

oooo Dubai is an amazing place to visit. My cousins live there and I want to visit someday.

This would seem somewhat dangerous

there are tons of transparent plastics and glasses than resist this, it's not like the mariana trench, the pressure ISNT THAT HIGH

Now if someone 'Accidently' broke the glass

now what happens when saudi arabia runs out of oil hmmm?

The glass would be thick and designed to withstand a lot of pressure.

The weight of the water is far more force than your best go and throwing a rock or chair at it. Even if you shot at it, its not going to cave in.

i would live in this hotel if i could

This would seem somewhat dangerous

every hotel can be dangerous. the building could collapse out of nowhere as well. actually, every building can be dangerous. it can collapse.

But at least it'd give you a chance to replace it.

It seems like Dubai is just a million years past everything else.
