Well, I was curious about the process of all this and found out that it's a lot easier than I thought.  I used Audacity, and probably will for any future ones that I might do.

Useful tools:
youtube-dl - Downloading videos from youtube and stuff
ffmpeg - .flv to .m4a (ffmpeg -i whatever.flv -f mp4 -c:a copy -vn whatever.m4a) Unecessary, Audacity imports the audio from .flv files just fine.
audacity - free, gets the job done
tracks -> stereo track to mono - don't forget!
effects -> normalize - Makes music a bit more consistently loud and helps beat finder
brown townyze -> beat finder - makes perfect loops!!
file -> export - make sure to select Ogg Vorbis!  Try multiple passes with different quality settings to find the optimal setting.

I'm open to requests.  Just give me a source to work from (audio file, youtube video, etc.).  I'll try to look for high quality sources, though.

Uploaded some more sings since the original post.  Been making some progress and improving on technique for this.  Mostly been uploading kind of "nostalgic" songs, from my early childhood.

Uploaded more music.  If anyone wants me to do more chrono trigger or other video game music, I'm up to requests.  Wind Scene has a bit of a click at the loop so if that really bothers anyone I could probably redo it but it'd require a lot of tweaking so for now I'm considering it good enough.

I greatly approve of Star Trek music being in this collection.
