Not really accurate to the real painting but iTry. The real painting has weird angle for the bar (it's not a square, it's a triangle in the painting)..
Besides that, Demian was right about one thing: The seats are way too high...

The seats are way too high...
Maybe the bar is way too low...  :cookieMonster:

Looks very much like the original, good job!

Here's the real thing, for everyone who doesn't know it

I have a poster of it in my house! nice one, didnt expect to see it over blockland forums!

9/10 applaud appreciation of fine art

could have angled the image better though. you can easily tell the difference of the gap between the businessman and the couple with the original.

The angle isnt brilliant but otherwise this is a good try, well done

Look at the angle of the exterior wall of the painting compared to the BL pic, then compare the distance between the callgirl/businessman couple and the office worker.  The wall angle of the painting has a lesser angle of depression than that of the picture.  Rotating the picture would do nothing.  The only way to fix the angle is to make the bar deeper.

Thank you for my new background!

@All other angle-related posts:

The angle is not the only problem, the grid is the bigger problem.

Besides the bar being a triangle, which even with Wedges that wouldn't work right...
The painting is not really on a "grid", the road is also sightly curved which would've looked weird no matter how I would've done it, and not only.
Either way, the angle could've been better though, indeed, but the field of view of the painting and Blockland is different anyway.

No, no, we aren't undermining its beauty, we were simply remarking on how a simple angle change couldn't fix the odd shot, but a total rebuild would be necessary, for which would make the look worse.

Oh, all righty then.

I look rather splendid in that image. I would totally hit me.

You seem to have problems with hairloss on the side of your head, you should see a doctor about that. Other than that, yeah, I'd hit you.
