I shot around 4-5 mags of .223 (I would have shot more but we ran out) and it is amazing. The only bad thing is is that if you hold it in the wrong spot on your shoulder it will hurt for a short moment. We also shot at the 100yrd and I did pretty good.

Yeah, shot those the day after we got it, and those have ALOT more kick than .223

You can only shoot 5.56 in a gun chambered for 5.56. Shooting 5.56 out of an AR15 chambered for .223 is a no go.

You can have any projectile you want. You just can't have anything automatic or something that looks militarish or has a large capicity magazine.
