i slammed my fist down on my keyboard a bit too hard when the song just abruptly ended as i was browsing the forums with it playing in the background.

i don't think it broke anything.
And still very WIP.

i knew that, i just meant that at the moment it had ended and everything was silent.
which sucked.

It seems like you barely have an idea of what the clan is about, it's not about just finding songs and looping them, you have to actually make the chiptune music. Download milkytracker and make a song to see if you could be any good at this, if you seem good, you might be accepted. It seems like you barely read the OP.

I looped a song once.
Can I join?

Quote
The music from this clan is called Chiptune, mostly heard in old videogames.
Members in this clan make their music however they like it, but
it needs to be Chiptune/8-bit because that is what this is about.

--->

'Chiptune' is a genre of music commonly used in older video games. The sounds used are usually wave sounds (square, sine, saw). This clan's purpose is creating original chiptune songs for use in Blockland and general listening.

Don't really have to use this but I'm explaining it a little better for PaperDemon there.
We don't loop songs in the sense of grabbing songs, remixing them, and preparing them for blockland; we compose.

Also: Quick experiment with delay tags in chords. Might make into a full song.

i don't think you need the pauses, i think they could be filled with notes.
how you would do that exactly, i couldn't give you criticism for because you are literally filling all of my chiptune dreams.

also; do you use milkytracker for these, i would very much appreciate being able to making my own edits so i don't have to complain to you about the really small things. (and if i reposted any edits i made i would certainly give the majority of credit to you)

Sedna (.mp3)
Sedna (.mod)
Sedna (looping .ogg)

Saturn (.mp3)
Saturn (.mod)
Saturn (looping .ogg)

Somewhat inspired by the NES Godzilla: Monster of Monsters soundtrack.

Sedna sounds nice, though Saturn sounds a bit odd, I think you should tweak with it a little.

Want me to add these two to the OP?

no, I use OpenMPT.
force me to use something else and it will probably sound like a flaming train filled with budgies and bad phones playing dubstep crashing into a row of glass towers.

that just happens to sound like an old video game.

Also, just made this. Gonna call it Climb.

openmpt can save as .IT, .WAV., .MID, .RMI.

I think Saxophone imported a .mid once

Eh, I'm not really sure how I could improve it. I went ahead and made one of the beginning notes slightly higher though, if it makes a bit smoother (had an F#5 note, changed it to a G 5 since # notes can be a bit weird if their not used primarily).

Want me to add these two to the OP?
