Author Topic: [HEIGHT] Appplication (Lots of pictures, may pagestretch.)  (Read 3819 times)

I'm not going to talk a lot about it, but the basic idea is a home with a traditional interior.
It has around 14-15 fully functional events including 11 working lights.
8,275 bricks.
Enjoy.

Front facade

Balcony

Foyer

Bar connected to the kitchen.

Dining Room

Dining Room from outside.

Kitchen

Yes, the refrigerator opens.

Second floor

Bathroom

Relaxation/Game corner

Bedroom

Ladder leading up to attic

Attic Room

The Home

Looking over the pictures, there are some subtle problems and places where bricks could have been better placed, which will be fixed later, but since they're so minuscule I don't think that the pictures need to be retaken.
You may rate the exterior and interior, and I would love any constructive criticism.
This took about 8-9 hours spread over about 4 days.

Thanks.

i like it, i like it alot

as a person who pays more attention to landscapes when building, this is possibly the best house i have ever sen, i really gotta start adding details in my builds lol...

You should take some screenshots with shaders on.

Actually they are on LOL.

and @zombe, Thanks.

Looks very nice, however I've noticed all of your curtains touch the floor. After noticing that, the walls appear a little short. What was the height of the walls? 6x?

8/10, pretty damn good

I love it, and as a member of [H], you get my vote for being in the clan.

You're still going to have to get the big man's decision (wehrmacht)

They are 7x high, but since I tiled the floors and ceiling, it's 6 1/3x technically.

Thanks Pass

i like this a lot, the white lines look pretty nasty tho, but that's not your fault. i'll recommend this to wehrmacht our dictatortot.

Personally I don't see that brickwork on the outside working well. As a base, confined to a little less than the bottom half of the first floor, it would be fine. It draws too much attention and makes the second floor too busy-looking and unnecessarily complicated.

Here's a reference pic of what I'm thinking:

The lower half of the main entrance is what I feel would look better.

Ah, I see, thanks for the suggestions.
What do you think about the interior?

Interior looks fine; just the bedroom picture should be lit. some wall parts look a little bricky and could have been better built and consistent, but that's a little advanced. examples of where there's issues would be the curtains for the game room (better-design possibility), and the spacer wall between the doors and the ceiling on the large open second floor room (inconsistency; the 1x4 brick and plates are differently placed for both).

I really hate wedge bricks.

Other than that, there could be some work here and there, I personally wouldn't let you in, but I'm not in the clan no more.
