Author Topic: Lance Armstrong stripped and banned  (Read 1192 times)

...Of Tour de France titles and from the Tour de France, respectively

In what is turning out to be a bad year for anybody named ArmstrongWhat, too soon?, 41-year-old bicycle racer Lance Armstrong has been stripped of all of his Tour de France titles and banned for life from the event, due to findings of performance-enhancing drugs in his system.
Lance says he will not be resigning from bicycling, under the premise that he has never used performance-enhancing drugs in his entire career, and that he has never once failed a dope test.

I should also mention that he resigned from the LiveStrong campaign a few days ago. Jeez.

Discuss conspiracies against people named Armstrong.

EDIT: Guess I should add a source, shouldn't I?

EDIT EDIT: So he hasn't resigned from the campaign, he's just "Stepped down as chairman".
Which may or may not mean exactly the same thing.

Like he wouldn't have won anyway.

What mother forgeters. Someone who has one testicle should be allowed to dope anyway.

The whole thing was a farce. It is a sad day in sports.

Are you saying hes innocent?

stretch got a bit taller recently but then he shrunk back to normal

I smiled

theyre blowing this way out of loving proportion
yeah he was doped, but he would still have won even if he wasnt taking drugs, maybe not 7 times but definitley once or twice

Still dope, still the rules
If he was going to win, he wouldn't have taken the drugs.

He had clean drug tests. So why is this organization coming out many years after Lance retired to say he doped. What is their evidence?

The tests are completely fixed. And most of the time when athletes even do test positive, the results are falsified to look like they didn't.

Watch Bigger Faster Stronger, it goes into this in great detail.

I have all the reports printed out and sitting in a stack, my dad stole them though. there are over 1,000 pages.

Edit: here is the evidence, released by USADA

Despite the fact that he took more than testosterone. He also took EPO and Blood Doped for sure.

Seen it last month in college. It convinced me that everyone cheated and the politicians against drugs don't really care and do whatever it takes to get to the top.

It isn't Lances fault if he was stripped then banned for being naked, this is just unfair!

We're all naked under our clothes
