I hate these abstinence programs

We've started another damn abstinence program in health today. I observe the class and everything they say reeks of blind following and "mind control" in a sense. They give us bullstuff "statistics" like 2 out of 3 teens who aren't virgins by graduation date don't graduate. The teacher, who works for a local clinic dealing with teen pregnancy and STDs, talks like STDs will actually pop into existence and infect your genitals if you have love before marriage (this one wouldn't bother me except there are no special cases, you are seriously guaranteed to get an STD even if neither person is infected). They tell you about the mind-raping emotional and mental effects of premarital love, but I'm not exactly in a position to say that.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day. Discuss, or something.

i like how people say condoms break and it's gonna give you a baby, especially when there are countermeasures for such an occasion, like the morning after pill, or wire coat hangers.
