Lets keep in mind that they use a CHISEL and HAMMER and are recording years and years of dates. I'd be tired after the first 4 months with a pencil :/. Even with constant breaks.

they have used the same calendar for 4 full cycles. this is in recorded history.

and their calendar is FAR more accurate then the one we use. the date of 12/21/2012 is OUR translation of when their calendar ended.
they didnt need leapyears and daylight savings times because they used a real calendar, unlike us who have kind of a fakey one just for simple economic use.

And now my mind is broke but alright.

If this was going to happen, NASA'd have already have seen it. It's two months before the supposed date.

I agree. Planets do not sneak up on you like that. In fact, I remember simulating a series of rough scenarios for a planet capable of actually destroying the planet of Earth, which is what the doomsayers claim.

Such a planet would be incapable of both being on any form of collision course with anything in our solar system and also hiding behind anything long enough that we haven't been able to spot it since the doomsayers started saying "DOOM!"

Unless it's not a planet, but a black hole, in which case we'll still get a period of warning when the orbits of the other planets and the Sun all start going haywire. There are very few black holes with a gravitational effect small enough to get vaguely near us before we'd notice their effects. (Except for micro-black holes, which evaporate in seconds or shorter and wouldn't realistically pose a threat to us.)

A micro black hole would cause a small earthquake all over the planet.
"not much effect"

I highly doubt a micro black hole would just cause a small earthquake.

I heard it was a magnitude 3 quake, probably higher tho.
These black holes are tiny and they'd definetally be strong enough to shake the china in your cabinet.

A micro-black hole evaporates too quickly to even cause an earthquake. We're talking about the added gravitational influence of MAYBE a large skyscraper. Black holes do not all have the mass of a thousand suns; the large ones tend to be fairly stable and last a very long time. And again, we would notice one of those coming at us from a long way off. A thousand suns coming at your solar system has an odd tendency to throw orbits off.

I wonder if smaller black holes are more-denser?
I'm pretty sure detecting changes in orbits is a bit more difficult than it sounds. Considering you can't just fire a laser at something.

Some planet called Niburu is supposed to collide with earth.
It's bullstuff.

Detecting a black hole coming into your solar systems really is not as hard as you make it out to be. Planetary orbits are surprisingly fragile; any sufficiently large body entering the system causes massive havoc on all of the bodies - including on the Sun, which is REALLY noticeable.

The sun is ALWAYS 0.5° in the sky. How large is that? Well, hold your pinkie up at arm's length. That's about the width of the sun. If it isn't, then there's probably something bad going on that astronomers are all freaking out over. (Or you just have really large or small hands.)

if the world was really going to end and kill us all. the government and nasa would be well aware of it yes.

however they have no reason to warn us years ahead of time. there is nothing to gain by having everyone on earth panic and all that strife when all is lost anyway.
it wouldnt be hard to believe that they wouldnt tell us we were doomed.

i know for a fact that a bunch of twisted teenagers will start lighting buildings on fire and set off fireworks

and it will scare the hell out of me

but man, would it be fun if it actually happened
