It's not like computer games don't use video. Any game that is computerized and uses a display screen should be considered a "video" game.

Multiplayer: Single-player games can be boring and interaction is nice.
Action: Good rush from, well, action.
Adventure: Exploring environments can be interesting
Creativity: Blockland in particular taught me that creativity is a good value. One of the reasons I like blockland is because you can make it your very own via creativity.

I'm addicted to strategy games, probably because they are the most varied and interesting games.  For me, a game being interesting is a huge aspect in whether or not it is "fun"
