forums is actually plural because this is one forum made os smaller forums. each section is a separate forum within a larger forum. Forum is a place where people gather to speak, you can have forums within other forums.

Well then you'd have to call those smaller forums sub-forums or else it would be a conundrum..right? I mean yeah its easier to say forums but that generalizes things and since TripNick is trying to prove his points to the exact wording, then I believe he is wrong.

Correct, so when...Frontrox I believe..said The Blockland Forums are great, then Nick said it was okay to use "Are" since forums is plural. However, if Front was referring to the title "The Blockland Forums" then using "Are" would simply not work! You cant say "The Three Stooges" are a funny tv show, you'd have to use "is" b/c it is the title of one thing. So no..using "Are" would not work.

Does that make sense? I mean im trying to get it to MAKE sense but I hate overbrown townyzing things after a while.

I don't know what you guys are rambling about, but "forum.blockland.us" is composed of two forums, the Blockland Forum, and the AoT Forum. So, the entire thing is "The Blockland Forums", the S making it plural, since there are two, and the majority of it is The Blockland Forum, no S for singular, which excludes the AoT boards. So, yes, the S in "Blockland Forums" is a plural, its name does not include an "s".
