Except, doing good things is their JOB which they are expected to do, and it shouldn't require special recognition just to get someone to do their job properly.

Calling them out on their bullstuff slightly helps keep them in line.

Regardless of that, you shouldn't overlook all the good things that they do as part of their job.

I kind of agree with this. Because it is fact that humans generally like to dwell on bad things more than good things. why do you think you hear scare stories on the news about how one person out of 6 billion died by an exploding BIC lighter?
I still however think calling out cops is helpful seeing as since they have enough power to enforce your rights they have enough power to take them away.

I'm constantly seeing and hearing about more people being abused by police officers. I don't just search "cop abuse" on youtube either
