Man, I know I get kidney stones at 16, but a football causing internally bleeding? We he like shirtless, and hit point blank with a potatoe launcher loaded with a football?
I'm surprised they let him go. I'd say the hospital is legitimately at fault here. My hospital won't let me leave unless I've spent a full 24 hours with them in the case of my stones (but that's for surgeries)
My condolences to the family and their son. It's a horrible way to go, and he had much to live for/ live up to.
To answer the question of what my school does, they send out a letter telling everyone a student died, then DURING school the offer counseling to everyone, the people who actually knew the recently deceased stay in school in groups and mourn the loss. People who dont know them and just hate school say they're too depressed and leave school (yes, every time.)
We also have a large boulder outside that we're allowed to spray paint on. When their anniversary rolls around, people paint one of the 3 faces with "RIP ______"
