woop
I would have thought that whole thing would have been in the op. thanks.

On another note; I don't understand a city build that has "ModTer" bricks but no window bricks.

I hope for less delay in the future... I don't know where this is hosted

There is an issue with latency. I'm currently investigating.

This seems impressive.

Made an italian cuisine restaurant. Will be on again.

I have a question. Why sand green? it might work if it was really dark, but this is just weird :v
it's like the streets are made of bronze or something

OK. So I have this problem. This server does not have the latest Blockland updates.  :panda:
I can't build on flat bricks. This is a problem. if there were zone bricks, there would be no problem.
Now, I'm not asking for zone bricks, I'm asking for the latest version of the game. Hopefully we can get that.

DUUUDE I can build another thing... I'm not asking anymore ok

yeah I just built a bunch of invisible bricks outside my lot to prevent "floating" bricks...hng

This looks very good and your concept is excellent. I just gotta rant a bit (not really towards you or anyone, just a general rant)

Why must all the City RP things pop up after I start work on my own :l

Okay so this is pretty cool, but everyone is super rich forever

My suggestion to alleviate the holy stuff so much money factor is twofold: Commodities and Upkeep costs.

Upkeep would be paid on events. For every evented brick you have, you pay a base of $1 + $0.10 per event on it rounded down; so a brick with up to 9 events is $1, but 10+ is $2, etc, etc.
Doors would be exempted from this if they have only one event.

Commodities would be certain luxuries, such as vehicles, and would be quite expensive; after all, driving around is fun and allows people who already have loads of money to continue enjoying themselves by being a nuisance to others by getting their cars stuck in things. Wonderment! You could restrict vehicle spawning to only allow you to spawn vehicles you have purchased. Another possibility would be restricting customizing your appearance, and allowing people to sell clothing, but that might be both overreaching and against your ~creative vision~ so whatever.

Right now you get income from your bricks and your banked money, and ticks are quite fast, thus everyone who does anything at all gets rich very fast and there's nothing to really spend your money on aside from more bricks - and I don't build fast enough to outpace my income now.

how can you actually stop people sneaking 1x1's into their builds everywhere?

everybody is going to be hella rich with this system

aludane goes afk too much, you need more admins

Some pics of the build atm:

add the duplicator
the total cost of the bricks  you're duping x1.2 + 50$ dupe fee

IMO a better idea would be a build valuation system, where somehow the builds get valued and the players earn revenue based off this value

how you'd implement that in a fair way would be up to you, but it'd be better than doing it off brick count (too open to abuse, crap for people with small GOOD builds)

dat barbershop

wonder what lovey lovey man made that

It's up to Icy to decide if it should be added but I feel it would cheapen investment in bricks.

Well I could see that working but a system/standard for rewarding players who finish their builds (such as payment of bank money) is something I'd like to discuss with Icy. Thanks for your suggestion

As money sinks, I plan on adjusting the amount of money you receive when you first join and then increasing the price of bricks. Remember to use the sell event to offer services. Start a casino and earns crap loads of money from people faster than the brickcount method (because I will be adjusting how much you get).

I plan on offering a financial services company for people who need loans on the server. Somebody else is starting a Italian restaurant and earning that way.

Making CityRPG look like over-developed stuffe.

it does this quite well on it's own
