One line of code

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Server is Open

- Added windows
- Updated BL server version
- Fixed minigame (I hope)
- Added net around the city limits; you can get over it if you really want, its only there to stop people building on the edges
- Restored interest to 10% every 7 minutes

Ya I do
Or do you want it to do more than transferring the brick in the right group and substract cash

Server has turned into a bunch of friends running around hammering each other and people trying to build, not really much role playing going on at all.

I'll come back and open more spaces, I guess the lots have filled up.

Yes, how unusual a Blockland server needs regular moderation.

God you're such an oaf lol.

EDIT: The issue has been addressed.

A bunch of players decided to group together and take advantage of a bug that sets off damage in minigames even when it is off. These trolls have been permanently removed.

The minigame has been disabled while I find the mod that broke it (I am pretty certain as to what mod it is from experience last time).

Such an event won't happen again.

the server is up without moderation? I think that
Several hours with no administration isn't accept[able]
maybe you just need a
host that isn't a loving negligent chump

Very funny, skip along now bub. Don't you have a drama forum to populate?

i can multitask!

you might wanna get back to working on your server though. you look like you've got a long road ahead of you before this actually pulls away from the quality of regular cityrps lol

we both know i'm right

no "shining" going on here lol. i would have thought you'd at least get it to a semi polished state before hosting it! yikes!

Woah there guys, calm down. I can even hear you with all this money clogging my ears.

we both know i'm right

You haven't even been to the server since the mod was repaired. As far as I can tell, not at all.

The first day was reset as I wasn't there to look over.

Currently many people are building and having fun at the server. It is going exceptionally well compared to CityRPG.

You can be in perpetual denial all you like. You always have bad things to say about what I do because your opinion is contrived. You don't know what you are talking about, as usual.

yeah i actually have lol

Have someone check the person wins, if they win hand them money or if they earn tokens through some system with VCE convert those tokens to money for the player. That's what I think Icygamma and the others are basing the casino's/betting systems ideas on.

That seems a bit silly, I understand the concept of strict roleplay and the honesty system, but wouldn't it be better to have some sort of specific casino event that couldn't be tampered with so it's all automatic? I wouldn't want to play for example, a slot game, and win only to have someone play and change the results while I'm asking them to be validated, for instance.

If I were you guys I'd make some new event for casinos that would allow you to pick from an odds level (low odds of winning, medium, high - this prevents the casino owner from doing some ridiculous 1 in 1000000 chance of winning) and then maybe have a parameter for how much the person has to bet or something. Obviously I just made this up on the spot so there's tons of room for improvement, but it's only a suggestion.

Of course I also have no idea how the current casino works. Could someone enlighten me on how winnings are dealt there?

VCE has variables that create random results.

A contrived odds system is unnecessary. You can event this yourself if you want to.
