Save it

Sounds borin' but I always found saving $100 was a good start to building up a nice little sum so I could buy something I REALLY wanted. Otherwise you just waste it on something crap.

Computers don't offer the same functionality as a tablet or vice versa. You are missing the point of those devices. Thought everyone understood it by now.

i understand perfectly, it's just why waste money on something that offers less functionality than what he's already got? That's unless you want a portable Internet player that isn't bulky and slow.

No.

Tablets are filling the void of portable gaming devices and consumer level computers that allow people who don't need or want a computer to complete everyday computing tasks without needing a netbook.

They offer an entirely different set of functionality to a computer, in how the software works, in how it costs, in how you interact with them, and what ways you can use them.

People who suggest tablets are a full blown replacement for computers, or that computers replace tablets, really have no clue what they are on about. It really doesn't make a difference if you prefer computers, maxwell, thats just how it is.

I don't, my computer is stuff and I own an iPad, it's just I don't think OP probably doesn't want to be spending his money on something to the equivalent of what he already has, that's all.
