without EE everything is too tedious
it's also, like, one of the biggest things to make tekkit fun
disabling it is like shooting your own foot
it'd be better if you just made a rule for no EMC generators or something.
besides, there are other uses for EE. normal usage of energy condensers, transmutation tablets, armour, weapons, etc.
EE has tons of wonderful things and I severely disagree with the way you're approaching the issue of generating diamonds
I do NOT want to have to spend 95% of my playtime in caves or walking around looking for stuff just because I can't transmute things I need and I keep depleting all the caves I find. On a multiplayer server, everyone would run into this issue, and the end result is unhappy users and a tedious-as-your-mother-talking-on-the-phone-with-her-old-friend-from-high-school-while-you-try-to-get-her-to-sign-a-form game.
Things are very resource-demanding in Tekkit. Even non-EE things. Without EE, doing anything past midgame is essentially poopsack.
There's a reason you don't see many people play "full-on scientist" in Tekkit.

EE obeys conservation of matter. that's the whole point of EE (
Equivalent Exchange)
the issue lies not with this mod, but with the way it works with other mods.
