first i'd see if they were running or walking

if they were walking i'd run and parkour myself out and into the safezone and join the other survivors

I live next door to a school that has a huge metal fence all the way around, so I'd get some supplies and get myself and family into there straight away.
Pros:
CCTV camera's for watch at night
Fire alarm to wake everyone up if zombies get in
P.e equipment/Gym to keep fit
Generator for power
Cafeteria
Big field to plant seeds

Cons:
No easy way out
Would have to tell other people to get lost if they wanted to come in
Big school, hard to check

Oh and i'd follow the rules from the movie Zombieland

As I live in the Netherlands; I'd jump in the car, drive to the sea flood reinforcement defenses and open them, flooding the entire country drowning all of the zombies.
