Add-ons Screwing My Mind.

I'm having a very hard time understanding the way to completely download Add-ons from the Forums.

A couple months ago I successfully downloaded the Halo Pack by extracting all the files into my Add-on folder. The majority of the files went into a Zip Folder but a couple happened to appear all over the Add-on folder.

The weapons in the pack work fine. But when I start the server many lines of red text appear and say something about damage. I started a mini and found out that they do no damage. So much for extracting...

Now on to my main concern. I have watched many videos on how to correctly download Add-ons. I do exactly what they do but the Add-on never seems to be in the chose an Add-on list when creating a custom server.

I look in my Add-ons folder and see the Add-ons I have downloaded off the Forums, all in a Zip Folder. Good, right?

Well, let me tell you the steps I do...
1. Click on download.
2. Click on save.
3. Click on Open.
4. Left click Add-on and drag to desktop.
5. Open up Add-ons folder.
6. Drag Add-on into folder.
7. Abuse the local CoD fans by insults.
8. Open blockland to see that all of the steps failed and addon is not in your Custom Game Add-on list.

Can anyone here help with this life long torture?!

You do not extract the ZIP.
You put the ZIP in the addons folder

All you do is save it and drag-drop into the Adonis folder wtf do you need 8 steps for...

When I click on open it brings me to a random space in my documents showing a folder of the Add-on I selected to download.

That's the point
So you can drag it into your addons folder
It's that simple.

If anyone here can understand, I drag the Add-on into my Add-on folder and it is successfully planted as a Zip. I start up BL and go to select the Add-ons I wish to use. I do not see the Add-on so i try at least 10 more times to try to figure it out ._.

(Still sorry, info is jacked up.) Ill try one more time today...

Your blockland folder should be in your documents folder. Save your stuff to Blockland/addons/

Yep, looked up many ways to download Add-ons and have done all of the steps. Looked in my Add-on folder and seen that they were there. Went to Blockland and chose the Add-ons for what I want to use in my server, and seen that the Add-ons are not there.

K here is how you do it for newbs:
Step 1: Download add-on
Step 2: DON'T extract the zip
Step 3: Drag the NOT EXTRACTED ZIP into C:/users/documents/Blockland/Add-ons
Step 4: DON'T EXTRACT THE ZIP, THIS IS BLOCKLAND, NOT MINECRAFT.
Step 5: Play Blockland, select start game, select custom, select add-on (you may need to scroll down to find it)

If this didn't work, you probably forgeted something in the instructions up or downloaded a crap-on. Crap-ons are add-ons that the game refuses to load because they are broken or just plain bad. EX: Ion Cannon, Pie, Vial.
