Robo, is this true?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdCEJISKWHc

That is so untrue it hurts.

Wait, to what extent can we have discussion before it can be considered just argument?

if your intent is to harass or convince someone else what they believe is wrong, don't bother. if you are having a discussion it's fine.

Edit: What's with the satanists? I've never had any contact with that group. What exactly is it about?

They worship satan. One of my close friends was a satanist at one point. Now he's an Atheist.

I figured as much. I don't really see the point of that honestly. Oh well, each to their own.

Can someone explain this to me?
Satanists worship satan, correct?
If satan is pretty much the symbol for sin, why would people want to worship him?

Ask one of them, I don't understand it either.

beats me. i can't understand it either.

I love Jesus, what he meant, and what he died for.

I also love eastern wisdom such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism.  In fact during the summer when I was bored I would speak on IRC about each of those wisdoms for a long time.  I love how these wisdoms don't talk about the theology of the world but instead talks about the spiritual well-being of people.

I also believe every action has a consequence and will be rewarded or punished eventually.

No offense snoz, but I find this very hard to believe coming from you, after the way i've seen you treat others, especially me, over some time lately. You've been totally calm at times then suddenly you flip out, start using tons of profanity and generally just being a jerk. Not intended as an insult at all, but are you by any chance perhaps bipolar?

Sin is immediately rewarding but eventually harmful.  So if someone want pleasure or achievement now it makes sense that they make deals with the devil.  I have also known people who worship Satan because they hate God.  Maybe for personal reasons such as losing a loved one.

No, I am not bipolar.  I treat people who, in my eyes, are contributing to issues, specifically social justice.  I have many diverse friends, so your stance hit close to home.  That is why I flipped out on you.  It was more defensive than "flipping out".  I use profanity all the time, but that is an entirely different discussion.

I don't often use people's characteristics against them in an argument.  I wanted to show my perspective of what you were doing.

And, again I am sorry for attacking your personal beliefs.  That was uncalled for.

If you want to continue this why don't you pm instead of making this a public spectacle.  It would be much more private.

i find it very hard to believe a christian would support a man revealing his genitals to small children

i mean js, no offense or anything

I'll just put this here.

Off-topic: the only posts I've seen from Robo are religious :| first it was "just take a moment to give god a chance", now it's "let's just discuss our various deities".

I didn't support the guy.  I was angry that he did anything at all.

If you are talking to Plant:  he isn't supporting the man's indecent exposure.  He supporting rape victims' or anybody in danger of being a rape victim, (eveyone) responsibility to protect themselves.  Correct me if I am wrong Plant.

Whats wrong with that?  Besides possible setting of a wild stuffstorm.

Way to answer your own question.

A huge chunk of this forum is agnostic/atheist.

Ok ya, I get that.

But this is a talk about spirituality, which can be a very broad term and can have nothing to do with the possibility of Deity.

Take a look at eastern wisdoms.  That is why I like them.  They are much more metaphysical than western wisdoms.
