Author Topic: Win8: Drivers not working  (Read 600 times)

Before you say "Update them idiot!", know this. I can't find any official windows 8 version of the driver, and the current display adapter is the Microsoft WDDM 1.1 version, which has no working OpenGL.
I can't play Blockland or Minecraft, and I have to use DirectX on source games.
halp :c

Maybe your drivers aren't meant for Windows 8, that or you may have to wait until your driver manufacturer makes an update for windows 8

Wait for the OS to get some support .___________________.

What graphics card do you have? I'm pretty sure both AMD and Nvidia added Win8 drivers for their card.

Intel integrated, G45/G43 express chipset (Microsoft WDDM 1.1)
The problem is the WDDM 1.1 has no OpenGL support, and it was made in (January?) for the windows 8 dev. preview.

Don't use windows 8
Not helpful at all.

Also yeah, it could be just windows 8 not detecting your driver yet or something :l

There is an outdated one it installed, but the driver has no OpenGL.
