Author Topic: Well, looks like Windows 8 has some problems.  (Read 2964 times)

So the other day, I was organizing my Start menu, putting my default programs here and arranging my games over there, when my laptop started to slow down a little. Since I did a lot with it, I decided to restart but when my computer was turning on and about to boot, I was greeted with a Recovery message saying my Boot Configuration File is missing some required information and my PC needs to be repaired.

File: \Boot\BCD
Error code: 0xc0000034

Seriously, like WHAT THE forget.

Looks like your computer lost his shoes :(

Also note it could be your computer and not the OS

what was your first clue that you couldnt do it?
the boot config file missing info or the fact you tried it.

boot into windows 8 dvd and run startup repair.
watch the fireworks.

windows 8 was just released. there's going to be a lot of updates like windows 7 had.

Another reason not to get Windows 8.

Pressing F8 or F11 doesn't work like usual and I got it from the Microsoft Store, no disk.

I'm guessing Microsoft didn't make the Organization feature of the start menu flawless.
