Some scientists are saying this is because of climate change.
yeah and these are the same idiots that said the world was flat 500 years ago

No one said the earth was flat 500 years ago. Try 7000 years ago.

lol ok

nobody really cared about the earth's shape 7000 years ago, civilization was just getting started

5000 BC(E) was when the first people started farming. Along with this came theories of the earth's spherical shape.

I highly doubt that in 1500 AD they still wondered if the earth was flat.

We need to take action.

wtf are you thinking, that people can just go beat up a hurricane so it'll never appear again? lol

no, we need to pollute less.

no, we need to pollute less.

Pollution doesn't have anything to do with climate change.

Let's yell at the climate so it'll never change

stopping pollution is not easy

can you think of a way to cut out every coal, gasoline, oil or other fossil fuel plant in the world and replace them with nuclear/solar power plants in less than a day? what about changing all gasoline/diesel powered cars? you'd need to replace them with electricity, solar power and so on, not to mention almost all trains, besides the electric ones. you'd also have to do this so fast that it does not stop trading or emergency services, which rely on electric life support and gasoline vehicles.

you'd also have the get not only the approval and backing of the united states, but the backing and approval of every country in the world. literally. every single independent state.

pollution isn't changing climate lol

you really think that humans can have a big effect on such a massive unstoppable biosphere? years and years and years of pollution might melt some ice, and then a tsunami wipes out a million people in japan.
