Make sure Show Annotions is enabled.

I know that YouTube has also been trialing a new annotation feature, so I'm wondering if certain videos are experiencing bugs or people are just playing around with 'em on their uploads.

Um... You can turn them on. Mine are off by default, there's a speech bubble at the bottom of the page that turns them on. Idk about you guys but that basically turns the annotations back on if I need them.

I clicked this topic, then went back onto the video I was trying to watch which seemed to be bugging out from YouTube not sending video data. I don't have the annotations button at all anymore. I don't usually notice annotations, though, so this has probably been gone for a good few hours...
