Author Topic: Rotation and extruding in blender  (Read 692 times)

Look at my first post in this thread for the updated question.

How do i merge these two edges in the center?

Also does anyone know any good blender tutorials?

P.S. I'm using blender 2.49b because my PC can't run the newer versions

Select two opposite vertices and press W > Merge > Merge at center.

select both your sides using edge select mode, press W, and thne press bridge edge loops

Select two opposite vertices and press W > Merge > Merge at center.

that collapses it into one vertex all the time, i think he meant he wants to combine the two sides

My 2.49b doesn't have that option.

That's why you select opposite vertices, not edges.

Thanks, it worked. i was trying to merge all 3 vertices together at once, that must be why they collapsed into one. I have another question however:

how do I rotate the highlighted edge so that it is completely vertical?

And also, how do I extrude a face along the normal axis?
