Author Topic: making a playertype with using blender?  (Read 1486 times)

i was wondering if there's a tutorial for making a playertype using blender
i can't find one, but maybe i just missed it

what

you don't make a playertype with blender :/ that requires scripting, not modeling.

if you mean the actual model, i dont think there has been a tutorial made for one yet, ask someone who has figured it out themselves

This is pretty much false.

Most of the work in a playertype is making the animations, which are very difficult to make look good. Scripting the playertype is pretty easy, at least what I have seen.

You need to make your own animations for each animation in the original playertype. (Jump, look, run)

Yeah, modelling is way harder than scripting the playertype.

Please don't do this. People don't like it.
