Port Forwarding isn't easy.. you could easily screw up your router trying to do it. Besides, he's 12 dipstuff.

I have no idea how in the forget anyone could mess up their router trying to port forward.

Haha google "I broke my router trying to port forward" I'm not going to argue about nothing, a 12 year old who cant figure out how to click buttons wont be able to port forward.
He's gotta learn some day.

If you break your router port forwarding you're an idiot. Really the only thing you could do is screw up your internet setting up a static ip which all you have to do to fix is set to default again

This is the stupidest argument ever, lol. Since I didn't want to spend an hour trying to help this kid figure out how to forward his ports, I put up an easy solution. ;_;

the only issue I can think of is accidentally managing to close all ports.

The only problem that I have ever heard of was apparently some kid opened all the ports in his router and completely crashed ISP. (As told by one of the tech guys that came out to fix stuff at my house)

No idea how the forget that would work though.

LOL, blaming a customer for an outage? What a classy move.

And then future generations get forgeted up by always wanting the easy solution.

Please stop misusing hamachi. It's made to play multiplayer games that don't have an online option, but a LAN option.

not everyone knows how to forward they're ports

it's literally fifteen clicks

I laughed. Not everyone has a fixed IP, mines dynamic, the average joe has a dynamic IP, it changes all the time. I know to forward my ports and its easy, but I haven't done it, since I don't have a static IP. Even though I can, picking a higher number when you have lots of iPhones, printers, and computers can be a bad idea..

You obviously have no clue what were talking about.

Since when is that possible.. the ipV4 address changes a lot, and it wouldn't match the one in the router.

Local IP's don't change.

It's been sitting like this for months.

My external does however, it used to be 173.180.153.32, now it's 216.232.225.233

You have no idea what your talking about, no offense. Of course Local IP's change, when the computer is shut off, like if the power goes out.

Check your routers table of ips and devices.

The only solution to get "free" hosting is to host the server yourself so that's what people are helping OP do.

Local IP's do not change if you set a static one, before doing so you'll want to make sure it's above/below whatever you router hands out though or you'll get a confliction sooner or later.
