Author Topic: Disconnected from server: Can't verify Blockland ID.  (Read 2827 times)

A Blockland friend of mine is having a problem when said person tries to join any server on the master server list and gets booted out with this message: Disconnected from server: Can't verify Blockland ID

Also said person has pretty bad internet. Like maybe worse than dial-up speed. Does anyone know what is going on? Btw said person has a valid Blockland key and said person's key connects fine to the master authorization server when getting in Blockland. And before anyone asks, yes said person re-installed Blockland. Said person has a clean install of Blockland and said person still has the same error. Any help?

Can someone please reply? My friend can't play on any online servers because of this problem.

Like maybe worse than dial-up speed.

Doubt it but if so, the authentication DNS could be just timing out.

I was confused as to why you were writing this to a friend then you said how he has very bad Internet. I am guessing you wrote this because he can't due to his Internet? If he can't load up the forums I don't see how he will be able to load into a server. There really is no reason to have such a low connection.

Try telling your friend to see if his firewall is blocking blockland from accessing the Internet.

This happens when he loses access to the master server. Every 5 minutes or so, the server (not the master server, the server you are connected to) does a check on everyone on the server to see if they are connected to the master server. If not, it kicks you from the game.    The problem probably has to do with your firewalls. If that isn't it, then it's just his crappy internet.

Correction: Not from the game, from the server. Don't want any confusion. Also, sorry for double post.

My friend doesn't have that bad internet, just bad for playing videos or playing online games. The reason I posted this for my friend is because said person doesn't have a forum account. So I posted this for my friend so said person doesn't have to make a forum account to get help. My friend said that the firewall for my friend's computer isn't blocking Blockland but I could always tell my friend to double check on that.

I'll make sure my friend's firewall isn't blocking Blockland but if it isn't blocking it, why is my friend having this much trouble just trying to connect to a server? In the past my friend could join servers fine without any problems, even though my friend would get a really high ping.

If i read 'said person' in this thread one more time i think I'll actually cry.

So his internet is good? you need to be more specific, you've gone from saying it was almost as bad as dial up to 'doesn't have that bad', and like everyone else has said, could be his firewall?

As I said in my previous posts, my friend can load internet pages fine but loading videos or playing online games is terrible.

Ok guys here is an update on the situation. I made my friend double check the firewall and it's allowing Blockland. But it's still having the same error when joining servers. Anyone know the cause?

Tell your friend to test his internet speed at speedtest.net and report back to use so we can check it out.

I believe what happens is when your internet looses connection with the master server, it usually leads to this. Solution would be to get a better service or restart blockland more often (works for me). How it happens it could be that it lost session or a change of IP?

Ok I told my friend to go to that website. Here are the test results my friend got:

Ping: 776
Download speed: 0.75 Mbps
upload speed: 0.50 Mbps

My friend can't get another service. My friend has Hughesnet and that's the best you can get where my friend is at. About the lost connection issue, that happens to my friend's internet a lot. Whenever my friend downloads something big, my friend loses connection from stuff like Steam for 2 or more seconds. But the thing is, my friend used to be able to play Blockland in the past fine even with this terrible internet. So why is my friend having this problem now? Anyone know how to prevent it or stop the problem completely?

I think "slow" Connection might be a problem You need a Faster one if you can (Highly recommend 500 - 800 Speed idk)
