Author Topic: When you wake up, and it's tomorrow. Except it's actually yesterday.  (Read 1625 times)

er, *today

what I'm talking about is when you fall asleep during the day, and then wake up and think it's the next day, when it's actually the same day
like, what happened to me a little bit ago. I fell asleep, on the couch I guess, after school, and then woke up at like 5:50-something, which is when I often get up for school. I guess my waking-up memory was being especially bad, bc within ten minutes I had convinced myself that it was morning the next day. so I got ready to take my shower and everything, but I was a little confused about why my laptop was still sitting in the middle of my bed even though I'd been asleep (I couldn't remember where I had actually slept at this point)
so through all of this confusion, I eventually decided that it was also a little weird that my mom was nowhere to be found. then I asked my sister what day it was (I didn't trust my watch), and finally found out that I had actually been asleep no longer than an hour

so, ya that's it. this has happened more than once, too. but somehow I've still never woken up on a weekend thinking it was a weekday...

That's nothing. I once fell asleep and found myself in CANADA

Happens to me alot, really throws off my calender inside my head.

one time i woke up wearing someone elses skin

the only strange thing that happens to me is when i fall asleep after my dad actually pesters me to get out of bed instead of just turning my light on. when that happens i sort of get this weird feeling that's sort of like "did i dream up what happened earlier??" and generally leaves me feeling incredibly confused for the rest of the morning.

This happened to me when I stayed up until 7:00 AM once. I fell asleep from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and I had spilled a slushie on the ground beforehand, and I asked my mom "Did you clean that slushy from yesterday?"

And she goes "Oh, [Anon], It's still [day]"

I felt stupid

day after tomorrow is called overmorrow

For the first 3 days at military academy I would lay awake in bed at night, and I would have hallucinations that people were sitting in the corner of my room watching me and trying to pull me out of bed, shouting at me, etc.

0/10 would not do again

I went to Canada. :)

I never read a calendar but I know it's today.

Whenever I sleep somewhere I usually don't, like the first day of a vacation or something, I'm always confused for a few seconds the first time I wake up

This always happens when I take a nap.

Oh god

This is why I avoid sleeping during the day.
